Your agreement with Sheykak

Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of the Sheykak website, apps, and features. They explain what the platform provides, what it does not guarantee, and your responsibilities for your account, questions, and public content.

Last updated: July 25, 2026

Sheykak facilitates access

The platform lets you send questions to activated scholar accounts. It is not a government fatwa authority and does not issue answers in its own name.

Acceptance and timing are not guaranteed

Usage limits and scholar availability may change. We do not guarantee that every question will be accepted or answered within a set time.

Questions are non-public, not inaccessible

Questions do not appear in the feed. Before acceptance, eligible activated scholar accounts may see a question; afterward, the assigned scholar can access the thread, with authorized staff access for support, safety, and operations.

You are responsible for what you share

Only share content you have the right to use, and respect other people's rights and privacy in every interaction.

01

Agreement and scope

By accessing or using Sheykak, you agree to these Terms and the Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the service. These Terms apply to visitors, account holders, scholars, creators, and anyone using platform features.

If you use Sheykak on behalf of an organization, you confirm that you have authority to bind it to these Terms. Some features may include additional in-product instructions; those instructions become part of the rules for that feature.

02

What Sheykak provides

  • A public feed, profiles, and content that account holders make available for publication.
  • Accounts and content interactions according to account permissions.
  • The ability to submit a religious question for acceptance by an activated scholar account on the platform.
  • A single thread for follow-up through text, voice messages, or files where available, plus limited calling features when the account and conversation are eligible.
  • Support, notifications, reports, and other community features we may make available over time.

Features may vary by device, country, account type, activation status, and scholar availability. The platform does not promise matching to a particular specialty or acceptance within a set time.

03

Nature of answers and consequential matters

  • An answer belongs to the scholar account holder who provided it. It is not an official ruling or fatwa issued by Sheykak and does not represent government endorsement.
  • Account activation, a badge, or professional information on a profile reflects a platform status. By itself, it does not guarantee outside credentials or the accuracy of every answer unless a badge's specific meaning is expressly stated.
  • A scholar relies on the details you provide. Missing facts or a changed situation can change an answer, so describe the context accurately and ask for clarification when needed.
  • Sheykak is not an emergency service or a substitute for a court, regulator, medical professional, or qualified in-person adviser. For matters with legal, health, financial, or immediate safety consequences, contact the appropriate authority or professional.
04

Eligibility and accounts

  • You must have the legal capacity to accept these Terms. Anyone who does not have that capacity must use the service with a parent or guardian's authorization and supervision as required by applicable law.
  • Provide accurate and current information. Do not impersonate anyone or mislead users about your identity, role, or experience.
  • You are responsible for protecting your credentials and activity through your account. Tell us promptly if you suspect unauthorized use.
  • Anyone requesting scholar or creator permissions must represent their qualifications and work accurately. Sheykak may review, activate, limit, or remove permissions; activation is not an absolute endorsement or guarantee.
05

Questions, conversations, and calls

  • A question and its thread do not appear in the public feed. While a question awaits acceptance, eligible activated scholar accounts may view it so that one can accept it. After acceptance, the asker and assigned scholar can access the conversation. Authorized team members may also access it to the extent needed for support, operations, safety, report review, and legal compliance.
  • The service may display limits on question volume, attachment size, or file type. We do not guarantee that every question will be accepted, that a scholar will be available, that an answer will be complete, or that a response will arrive within a particular time.
  • Do not submit another person's personal data or confidential documents unless you have a lawful basis to do so and the information is necessary for the question. Redact unnecessary details where possible.
  • Where calls are available, the service may process technical connection data, participants, call state, timing, and call-log information. Network, device, and external connectivity providers may affect quality.

Conversations are not presented as end-to-end encrypted. Read the Privacy Policy to understand who may access data and why.

06

Public content and the operating license

You keep your rights in content you create. When you publish public content or upload material to Sheykak, you grant Sheykak, only to the extent needed to operate and protect the service and make the content available as you intended, a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, copy, process, display, and technically distribute it.

This does not authorize us to publish a private question to the public feed. We process questions and conversations to provide the feature, support, and safety as described in the Privacy Policy.

  • Make sure you own the content or have appropriate permission to use it, including images, audio, marks, text, and other people's information.
  • Content you choose to make public may be seen or reposted by others within the platform, and another person may retain a copy outside our control.
  • You can remove content with available tools. Limited information may remain where needed for operations, security, or compliance as described in the Privacy Policy.
07

Acceptable use

When using Sheykak, you must not:

  • Break the law, commit fraud, impersonate others, or use the service for a purpose that harms people or conflicts with the platform's religious and community purpose.
  • Post threats, harassment, hate, exploitation, sexual, violent, or extremist content, or encourage harm or crime.
  • Violate privacy or intellectual-property rights, or publish personal data or confidential material without a right to do so.
  • Send spam, manipulate engagement, file malicious reports, or intentionally mislead users.
  • Introduce malware, disrupt the service, bypass access controls, test vulnerabilities without permission, or collect data through unauthorized automated means.
  • Sell or share an account or use an identity, badge, or permission that does not belong to you.
08

Moderation, reports, and account action

You can report content or conduct through available tools. Authorized team members may review content, context, and account history to assess a report or protect users and the platform. We do not guarantee that every item is reviewed before publication or that every report will produce a particular result.

Where appropriate, Sheykak may limit or remove content, reduce permissions, suspend or terminate an account, or preserve necessary evidence if we reasonably believe there is a Terms violation, security risk, legal request, or misuse of the platform. We will consider context and legal requirements when providing notice or an opportunity to challenge an action.

If you believe action on your account was a mistake, contact us from the account email with a description of the action and relevant information.

09

Sheykak and third-party rights

The Sheykak name, logo, design, software, and materials created by Sheykak are protected by applicable rights. These Terms do not transfer ownership to you. You may not copy, modify, reverse engineer, or commercially use them without permission, except to the extent the law allows.

User and scholar content belongs to its respective owners. If you believe content on Sheykak infringes your rights, send us a clear description, a link to the content, and information showing your connection to the right.

10

Privacy and third-party services

The Privacy Policy explains the data we process, service providers, and your rights. By using Sheykak, you acknowledge that operating the service requires data processing under that policy and applicable law.

Some features depend on third-party services, such as sign-in, hosting, notifications, connectivity, or links posted by users. Your direct use of those services is also governed by their terms and policies. Sheykak does not control external-site content or practices.

11

Availability, warranties, and responsibility

These Terms do not exclude rights or liabilities that cannot legally be excluded. Otherwise, Sheykak's responsibility is limited as applicable law permits. We are not responsible for matters outside our reasonable control or for losses caused by user content, external services, or use that violates these Terms.

  • To the extent permitted by law, the service is provided “as is” and “as available.” Maintenance, errors, delays, or loss of some functionality may occur.
  • We do not guarantee the accuracy of every user-created answer, profile, or item of content; the result of relying on it; or the availability of a scholar or feature at any time.
  • You are responsible for your decisions, any additional verification appropriate to the matter, and keeping a copy of content you need.
12

Ending use and deleting an account

You may stop using Sheykak at any time and use in-app account deletion where available or contact us. The Privacy Policy explains what may happen to data after deletion and any legal or security exceptions.

We may suspend service or end an account under the moderation section above, or if we stop offering part of the service. Provisions that by their nature need to continue—such as intellectual-property rights, responsibility limits, and dispute terms—remain effective to the extent permitted by law.

13

Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms when the service or legal requirements change. We will publish the revised version, update the date at the top, and provide additional notice of material changes where required. Using the service after the revised Terms take effect means you accept them to the extent permitted by law.

14

Applicable law and disputes

These Terms are subject to applicable law and the authority of competent regulators and courts. They do not remove any mandatory complaint, court, or consumer-protection right. We encourage you to contact us first so we can understand the issue and try to resolve it.

15
